Sports Photography
We understand and value the hard work and time that you, as parents and coaches, put in: taking your children to practice, games, teaching them everything that is involved, and so much more! We know how important those memories are as your children grow to love their sports and activities. We absolutely love the creativity behind the scenes when it comes to capturing those memories!
We work very closely with your volunteers to create a fun and relaxed portrait session for each child. Parents never have to decide how many photos they will purchase before they see the images. We utilize an easy online ordering system, where parents can browse their children's portraits and place orders at their leisure.
All Players, please!
All players will be photographed regardless of intention to purchase. Team photos will be composed using individual player images. It is important that your child is present for picture day so that they can at least make it into the team photo.
Siblings/Coach/Companion Shots
If you have multiple players on different teams, your children may be photographed during the time slot that best fits your schedule. Siblings may be photographed together (just ask when it’s your family's turn!). Our photographers are happy to take coach/player and companion shots as well.

How can I prepare my child?
If your child’s sports team has selected DBS Photography to capture photos, rest assured that the experience will be comfortable, friendly, and fun!
DISCUSS PICTURE DAY, BUT DON'T STRESS YOUR CHILD OUT!
On the day of the photo shoot, we recommend telling them it's Picture Day. That's it!
There’s no need to remind your child to smile, stand up tall, or keep their eyes open. In fact, we've found that these types of instructions often make the process more difficult, because the child focuses too intently on trying to do everything perfectly, instead of just being natural in front of the camera. Our photographers will do their absolute best to get those natural, genuine smiles. We will have pose banners readily available and make the process as simple and as efficient as possible!
How many poses does each player get?
Each player is offered a variety of poses that showcase that particular sport. Parents may choose one, none, a handful or all poses when ordering. Each child will also receive a customized memory mate and several customized individual photos in their gallery.
What about Team Photos?
Team photos are composited from the individual player images.
How will I know when my photos are ready?
You will receive an email within 1-2 weeks of the last picture day for your organization to let you know that your photos are ready. This email will also include a link to your gallery.
If I have multiple children, do I have to come to each time slot?
We love to take sibling/companion sports photos! Please just let us know when it is your child's turn to have their picture taken. Come to the time slot that is most convenient for your family. Sibling photos are typically best taken during the younger child's turn as they are more difficult to keep clean and focused.

How long until my photos are ready?
All photos will be uploaded to private password-protected galleries within 2 weeks of picture day. Once photos are made available for purchase, you will receive an email to access your child's gallery. If you have more than one child, you will be able to view and purchase their photos at the same time.
Can I see the photos before ordering?
Absolutely! You will be sent a proofing gallery to view the images prior to placing an order. All ordering is done online via a password-protected gallery. There are no prepay forms, so you can choose which images you'd like to order!
How do I place an order?
Each team receives access to an easy-to-use online website that showcases each child's photos in individually password-protected online galleries. Parents order right there in the gallery; it's even easy to view sibling galleries and check out all at once!
When will I receive my order?
Orders are sent directly to the lab once approved, and will be shipped directly to the purchaser's home, usually within two weeks of ordering. Digitals are typically available for download immediately after approval (within a few hours).
Can grandma/other extended family members order?
One of the wonderful things about the online gallery is that anyone with the password (or forwarded link) can place an order. If your family members are out of state or not local, they can still have their orders shipped directly to them!
